We are a Chartered Accounting practice that has evolved from practices established in 1955. The current structure of the practice began in July 1999 when the company Kellaway Cridland Pty Ltd was established.Our application to work and service retains many of the attributes of the original practices from which we have grown along with a priority to keep advancing with the ever changing business environment in which we operate.We specialise in providing professional advice and services to individuals, family groups, businesses and their related entities such as self managed superannuation funds, family trusts and private companies.Our aim is to create a structure and process where our clients business and personal affairs are managed in a simple, tax effective and efficient manner.In achieving this we will liaise with other professional service providers (eg financial advisors, bookkeepers, stock brokers, lawyers, etc) to reduce our clients personal administration where possible and ensure their affairs are up to date.Our clients operate in many different industries and vocations. We are able to provide services and advice that are specific to their needs and where necessary can put them in contact with specialists for advice on matters outside of our expertise.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Business Services Accountant at Kellaway Cridland Chartered Accountants located in the Sydney CBD. As a Business Services Accountant, you will be responsible for handling accounting and tax-related tasks and providing accurate financial advice to clients. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, identifying tax savings opportunities, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProven work experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsProficiency in accounting software and MS OfficeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional certification such as CPA or CA is preferred

  • You are an experienced business services accountant with exposure to trusts and SMSF’s.You have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience liaising with clients and the ATO.You are easy going, happy to roll the sleeves up and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.We are a Chartered Firm with a growing client base looking for diligent accounting staff who want to grow with us.We provide professional accounting and taxation services to private clients, their families and related entities.We provide a great working environment in Sydney’s CBD.
