Description

THE POSITION:

  • Provides exceptional customer service in person and on the telephone on a recurring basis.
  • Performs administrative clerical work in the billing, collection, and crediting of payments for taxes.
  • May perform other related duties as required.
  • Receives general supervision from the Tax Collector and task supervision from the Assistant Tax Collector.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Considerable knowledge of standard bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent business math skills.
  • Considerable ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers and the general public.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of clerical and cash/check handling or banking experience.
