We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Leadership team to help implement our vision of Firm growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help us stay tax-compliant and up to date on new tax laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA License or EA license current and in good standing
  • Seven or more years of related experience
  • Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects

Responsibilities
  • Lead in the development and implementation of tax processing procedures.
  • Lead in the development and implementation of project management processes and tools.
  • Coordinate with IT administrator in applying technical and software needs as related to accounting/tax processes and project management.
  • Coordinate with Tax administrator regarding filing deadlines and project assignments.
  • Coordinate with Firm Administrator/Controller with staff and invoicing issues.
  • Direct/delegate projects with/to staff.
  • Review accounting and tax projects.
  • Sign tax returns.
  • Supervise staff and seniors assigned to projects and manage time and project completion within budget.
  • Prepare invoices for clients as needed.
  • Assist with collections as needed.
  • Meet utilization and realization standards personally.
  • Monitor compliance with Firm quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate with partners regarding staff and Firm matters.
