Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Preference will be given to Asian nationals

• Assist the Business Lead in advancing international business projects and business development initiatives.
• Support business development activities, including client communication, market research, business coordination, and follow-up on potential business opportunities.
• Coordinate tax, compliance, audit, corporate, and business-related matters.
• Liaise with government authorities, banks, audit firms, professional service providers, and external business partners.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and business compliance requirements in Bahrain, the UAE, and offshore jurisdictions to support business operations and client requirements.
• Assist with client and business partner communications, meeting coordination, and follow-up on business opportunities.
• Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other commercial documentation.
• Track project progress and prepare related reports and documentation.
• Assist in coordinating cross-border business activities and maintaining relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• Assist in optimizing internal business processes to improve team operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with experience in banking, audit, taxation, corporate services, business consulting, or business development.
• Prior experience in business development, client management, commercial coordination, or international business is highly preferred.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of finance, taxation, corporate compliance, and basic business operations.
• Excellent English communication skills with strong cross-functional coordination abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, banks, government authorities, and professional service providers.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Prior work experience in the UAE or the Gulf region is preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and attend external meetings as required.

Candidate Profile

• Age: 25–32 years.
• Asian nationality is preferred.
• Foreign national with fluent English communication skills.
• Chinese language proficiency is a strong advantage, particularly for communication with Chinese clients, business partners, and stakeholders.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking, audit, taxation, corporate secretarial services, corporate/business services, business consulting, or business development.
• Candidates with commercial experience, client-facing experience, or international business coordination experience are highly preferred.
• Willing to travel locally and attend external meetings as required.
• Open to learning and working with tax, regulatory, compliance, and business requirements across different jurisdictions.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership beyond defined job responsibilities.
• Strong business awareness and interest in international business and cross-border operations.
• Motivated to grow alongside the Business Development (BD) team and develop into a key business operations and commercial professional.
