Description
Ensure reconciliations and backing of all tax related accounts (customs, VAT, WHT, payroll taxes ) Ensure that all taxes are properly accounted for and withholding taxes retained as requested Ensure aged items in tax related accounts are properly reconciled and cleared Ensure review of all back up and review that declaration prepared by tax and regulatory team matchedaccounting Support the requirement for having a GCEC and OHADA compliant period end close process Execution of all general ledger standard controls and retention of audit evidence of the completed controls Maintain coding structures (General ledger, cost centre, profit centre) that meet both Group reporting andOHADA and GCEC analysis requirements. Comply with tax laws and relevant accounting principles and Group policies Manage preparation of corporate tax computations as completely and accurately as possible, for reviewand consolidation where needed by Tax teams. Preparation of withholding tax and indirect tax obligations subject only to high-level validation by the Taxteams. Participate and provide input on how to improve on tax process Align on requests from regulatory, legal or tax team Assist manager OHADA and Vodacash in preparation of statutory accounts Ensure all tax account are reconciled in Cadency tool note ! except what is listed above, you could be requested to perform other tasks that your linemanagers might request. University degree in finance, economics and,or business administration. 3 + years experience in transactional operational environment Keen on controls & financial discipline
