Position Overview: We are seeking a self motivated CPA or EA manager to join our team to help over see staff accounts based in Pittsboro, North Carolina. As a Manager accountant at Buffalo Finances, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax advice and tax preparation/ review while working with a growing team in a positive work environment. We pride ourselves on a friendly independent environment that good hard working people can excel in.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5+ years of tax preparation experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
• Experience with tax preparation software (experience with Lacerte is preferred).
• Proficiency in Google Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.

• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits.
• Review staff accountants and bookkeepers reports.
