Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company (’Versant’) comprised of most of NBCUniversal’s cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent professional qualification in related field.
• Significant experience in international tax within a multinational corporation.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align tax planning with business objectives.
• Strong understanding of tax governance, audits, and risk management.
• Clear and professional communication with internal teams, external advisors, and tax authorities.
• Extensive experience in international income tax planning, accounting, and compliance.
• Experience in pricing and documentation of related party transactions, especially services and intangible assets.
• Proven track record of working with local tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Awareness of international tax issues in the context of global licensing and IP.
• Strong strategic thinking and independent decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues within a commercial context.
• Experience in managing and directing tax litigation and appeals.
