Job Description RRD is seeking a Tax Intern to assist with the preparation of RRD’s U.S. Federal and State Corporate Income & Franchise Tax Returns and its supporting work papers. The tax intern will conduct light tax research on various topics associated with the tax returns, gather information for tax notice responses, and assist with special projects. A tax intern at RRD will learn how to use Thomson Reuters OneSource Corporate income tax software as well as HFM and SAP accounting software. Responsibilities: Assists with the preparation of RRD’s US Federal Consolidated Form 1120, which includes over 100 U.S. and foreign legal entities Assists with the preparation of RRD’s Corporate State Income & Franchise Tax Returns for over 40 states, which includes modifications and factor adjustments for GILTI, Section 78, Section 250, DRD, Subpart F, Depreciation, Section 163(j), Capital Gains/Loss, etc. Assists with the quarterly Federal and State estimated tax payments and extensions Assist with continual process improvement where standardized processes are embedded in tax technology and HFM so GL balances are easily refreshed and imported/exported to/from the OneSource Suite of Products (E.g. OTP, OIT, OSA, etc.) Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance Rising Junior or Senior status Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher Show an interest in learning about tax and have taken an intermediate accounting or tax class Be able to recognize anomalies, ask questions and communicate solutions to issues identified Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate oneself in a business environment Exhibit Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Windows, etc.) skills and be able to pick up other software skills Additional Information The rate of pay is $25.00/ hour. Opportunity to contribute to a 401K, with company match during your internship.
