Title: Tax Intern Reports to: Manager of Tax Performance Location(s):  Round Rock, Tulsa, Claremore, Kansas City (In Office Role) About the Role At PaulHood we are transforming the mid-market CPA industry with an entirely new model.  Our year-round membership model provides clients with expert tax and financial guidance, helping them feel more secure and realize their long-term financial goals. To support our continued growth, we have completely modernized our business with technology and processes more akin to a SaaS company than a CPA firm. In response to this growth, we are seeking 2 Tax Interns to assist our tax team from February 3, 2026 through April 15, 2026, in office, with various tasks associated with production of a tax return: data entry, AI auto-flow, simple research tasks and administrative duties (typing correspondence, filing, scanning, etc). The ideal candidate will have some prior work experience and a minimum 3.5 GPA in college coursework. To do this well, you’ll need to be enthusiastic and hands-on, ready to learn in a fast- paced environment.  You’ll have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and be excited to learn new software applications.  You’ll also need to be excited to work on a team and accept responsibilities and assignments from multiple teammates. What You Will Do * Shadow multiple professionals and train on a variety of tasks throughout PaulHood to gain a better understanding of how a tax practice works.   * Perform data entry, tax return AutoFlow and verification, research and administrative tasks for tax professionals as instructed.   * Attend company meetings and functions as needed for educational purposes.   * Perform other related duties as assigned.  Experience and Education You Will Need * High school diploma or equivalent required.   * In the process of receiving a bachelor’s degree; preferably in accounting, finance, or business.   * 1-2 years of any work experience in any field or industry. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  Who You Are * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  * You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.   * You have the ability to keep information confidential.  * You have the ability to learn new or updated software.  * You have the ability to work well in teams.  * You have the ability to be punctual and present for work and/or work-related events.   What’s In It For You You will join a forward-thinking team that is reshaping the future of the tax and accounting industry.
