To support this mission, Syngenta’s Finance Operations is seeking a Tax Junior Analyst in Montevideo, Uruguay. Accountabilities Assist in Preparation of Tax Returns drafts (WHT and VAT): tax payments, fillings, certifications, etc. Tax Accounting and Reporting: working papers, WHT and VAT reconciliations, etc. Assist in Preparation of Direct tax. Assistance of 3rd party requirements (vendors, customers, etc.) Assistance on the elaboration of supporting documentation for compliance purposes. Actively communication with other departments Reconciling balance sheet ledgers to sub-ledgers or external information. Qualifications Required 1-2 years of experience in multinational environment or Big 4 related to Taxes functions. Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background. English: intermediate level MS Office: intermediate level Track record of compliance culture maintenance and enforcement. Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization. Good communication skills. Desired Experience with ERP systems desired (SAP experience is preferred).
