Allworth Financial was also recognized as a Barron's Top 40 RIA in 2024. SUMMARY: We’re currently seeking a Tax Manager for our Pleasant Hill CA office. This is a full-time, Exempt role based out of Pleasant Hill. The pay range is $130,000-$150,000 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with partners to manage a dedicated book of clients. Clients will be a mixture of Individuals and Entities (Corps, S-corps, Partnerships, Trust, nonprofits). Help, meet and communicate with clients. Prepare and review various types of tax and accounting engagements. Work with and mentor staff accountants. Contribute to the firm’s growth goals and share in the success. What we look for: Trustworthy, team player, excellent work ethic, positive attitude & a “complete the project” frame of mind. Excellent communicator and pure professional. Pro level accounting and tax skills. CPA licensed and 6-10 years of general practice public accounting. Outside interest unrelated to debits and credits. QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree (Accounting Preferred) Master's Preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & Ability to work well with others Lacerte Software experience preferred. Excellent PC skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Office Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills. 6-8 years of relevant experience in CPA/Tax/Accounting office.
