Job Description Join a dynamic tax team of seven in our growing Richmond office. This role offers excellent benefits and a strong work-life balance, even during busy and off-season periods. Responsibilities Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary returns. Review U.S. and state individual income and gift tax returns. Prepare tax projections for individual and corporate clients. Conduct tax research as needed. Communicate with existing clients and colleagues regarding various tax matters. Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by clients. Essential Skills 7+ years of tax experience, including review and preparation of C-Corp, S-Corp, partnership, fiduciary returns, and Forms 1040 & 1065. Experience as a manager responsible for managing team members and reviewing work. CPA or EA certification is required. Experience meeting with clients and providing top-tier customer service. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in CCH Axcess software. Experience with Canopy CRM. QuickBooks experience. Work Environment Enjoy a small office feel while benefiting from the national reach of 20 current locations, with plans to expand to 40 offices over the next four years. Work hours are 50-55 hours per week during the busy season and 40 hours during the off-season. Employees will start with fully on-site work Monday through Friday until a foundation is built, then transition to 1-2 days of working from home. We offer generous benefits, including 4 weeks PTO, 7 sick days, 5 bereavement days, and a 401k match up to 4%. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.
