TAX MANAGER

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (with flexibility to work from Burlington or St. Catharines)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• CPA designation (CPA, CA)
• 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in tax
• Enrolled in or willing to complete the CPA In-Depth Tax Program or MTax
• Advanced knowledge of Canadian tax laws and tax planning
• Strong experience preparing individual, corporate, trust, estate, and partnership returns
• Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements and corporate reorganizations
• Background in M&A tax advisory and succession planning
• Ability to manage, mentor, and delegate work to a team of 8
• Experience liaising with CRA and provincial tax authorities
• Client-facing skills: participation in meetings and delivering proactive tax solutions
