Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and payment of tax liabilities
  • Identifying, evaluating, and implement tax incentives to optimize the company’s tax position
  • Leading and managing complex tax projects, providing input into strategic tax planning and advisory services.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities
  • Supporting tax audits conducted by tax authorities, internal and corporate auditors, or external auditors and reviewing assigned transactions and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
  • Maintaining comprehensive tax reports and records to meet reporting requirements
  • Identifying and managing tax risks, ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Working closely with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decision

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in either Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
  • Have at least 5 years in a similar role and show proven technical knowledge of Italian Corporate tax laws and regulations
  • Be a Team player, proactive attitude, flexible to meet tight deadlines and able to perform well under pressure
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills and be fluent in English and Italian
  • Be able to evaluate complex proposals and anticipate, identify and resolve tax-related risks and opportunities
  • Have a good working knowledge and understanding of Oracle is a plus
  • Be a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA
