KPMG's Consumer Industrial Markets Tax practice is looking for a Tax Manager. As part of the engagement team, you will excel in servicing the planning and compliance needs of our clients. This position provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of tax-related work requiring analysis, assessment, and quantification. Special projects and research will ensure that you are kept up-to-date on current tax practices. What you will do Conduct research and analysis on a wide variety of tax issues Review corporate and personal tax returns Review tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service Support senior staff in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies Prepare and advise on corporate, personal, and trust tax returns Stay current on tax legislation and industry trends through special projects and research What you bring to the role Successful completion of the CFE or expected completion within the year 1–2 years of experience in a public accounting firm Enrollment in or interest in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build trust through clear communication Initiative to seek opportunities to expand expertise and contribute to team success Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Providing you with the support you need to be at your best For more information about KPMG in Canada’s Benefits and well-being, click here.
