Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare and review corporate and trade tax returns and assist with tax audits
  • Actively support and coordinate communication with tax authorities and/or external tax advisors
  • Manage tax-related aspects of interdisciplinary national and international group M&A projects as well as intra-group reorganization and transformation projects, including optimization of their impact on the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and liquidity
  • Respond to ongoing inquiries related to German accounting and tax law as well as international tax law, including the preparation of tax opinions
  • Contribute to the preparation of decision-making documents for the executive boards of Deutsche Börse Group companies
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes for both IFRS and HGB
