POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that our tax strategies align with our business objectives while adhering to all applicable regulations. This role involves collaboration with various departments to provide tax guidance and support on complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profit organizations.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to high net worth individuals and real estate clients.
  • Review and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role in a public accounting or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, real estate transactions, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
