We pride ourselves on building long-term client relationships and delivering proactive, year-round tax planning-not just compliance. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with 7+ years of public accounting experience to join our team. This role will focus on working with high-net-worth clients and complex tax returns, while also reviewing staff work and delivering strategic tax planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities Review returns prepared by staff; provide feedback, mentorship, and training Provide year-round tax planning and advisory services Calculate and project current-year estimated tax liabilities Work with high-net-worth individuals and businesses on complex tax matters Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address tax inquiries Ensure compliance with IRS and state regulations Qualifications 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting Active CPA license (required) Strong experience with high-net-worth clients and complex returns Deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws Experience reviewing staff work and managing deadlines Excellent communication and client relationship skills Compensation & Benefits Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses 401(k) retirement plan Health Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Disability Insurance Life Insurance 3 weeks PTO Flexible schedule with some remote work available Why Join Greene McCowan & Co?
