Key responsibilities Develop and maintain a strong and trustworthy relationship with senior tax officials in charge of Kerry China/Sites. Deal with tax audits, assessments, queries as well as inquires/solve tax disputes with the minimized additional tax liabilities. Develop tax strategies and manage project implementations by collaborating across finance team and functions. Lead the team to manage all the tax compliance and reporting requirements for both Direct and Indirect taxes Strategic tax planning, tax policies and tax advice related to all Kerry operations in China Proactively monitor tax regulation updates to identify any planning opportunities to achieve tax savings and working capital optimization Review and prepare local country transfer pricing documentation for all Kerry entities in China (including product TP) Communication of all tax issues to the various stakeholders including changes flowing from China budgets or changes in the underlying legislation. Reviewing tax disclosures in statutory accounts for all Kerry entities in China. Interfacing with Group Business Service and China Compliance teams to ensure full compliance with all compliance requirements. Responsibility for all tax matters relating to M&A activity, due diligence and planning for China. Qualifications and skills Comprehensive understanding of PRC tax laws and regulations, having international tax experience would be plus 59 years practical tax experiences in Big 4 + Industry. Experience in a manufacturing multi-national company would be a plus Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, preferably with professional qualification (CICPA, CTA, ACCA preferred) Broad exposure to the full range of Taxation matters as well as general Business Processes at all levels both, in Finance, Administration, Operations and Sales/Marketing Professional experience with tax digitalization project, PN9, PN7, HNTE is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills with domestic and overseas stakeholders Problem anticipation and fast solution implementation Fluent command in both written and spoken English Be a team player who is also able to work well independently and under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities
The Tax Manager will develop and maintain relationships with senior tax officials and manage tax compliance and reporting for Kerry's operations in China. They will also lead tax strategy development and monitor tax regulation updates to identify planning opportunities.
