Our main services includes Food and Feed Testing, Consumer Product Testing, Environment Services, Agricultural sciences, Inspection and Audit, Certification, DNA testing, Genetic testing before prenancy, Covid test, HPV test, Decoding gen, etc. Current legal entities in Vietnam: Eurofins Sac Ky Hai Dang Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Eurofins Assurance Eurofins MTS Eurofins Gentis Eurofins ETM Job Description Tax compliance process, tax consultation as well as tax governance work for the companies under NSC scope: VIETNAM, SINGAPORE, PHILIPPINES, MYANMAR, CAMBODIA, INDONESIA Maintain good relationship with local tax authorities and audit firm; monitor various tax audits including royalty related audit and assist in necessary tax negotiations including defense of anti-tax avoidance investigation. Monthly and quarterly review of tax reporting to tax authorities such as VAT, CIT tax returns, CIT accrual and tax payment forecast. Cross review annual CIT report and assist in preparing local TP documentation. Timely communicate with external firm for their opinions on the tax adjustments in order to keep final reported figures accurately and compliantly. Provide full technical supports on the business operations and M&A projects according to the specific business models and operating situation, e.g. whole tax supports for the new company setup, planning and application of high-tech enterprise certificate, government subsidiary and tax preferences etc. Review and give tax advice for all cross border projects. Lead negotiation with the tax authorities in case of tax disputes / special tax treatment on the non-trade transactions. Monitor implementation of the preferential tax treatment for the applicable projects related zero VAT rating services and VAT exemption. Hold periodic review meeting with Finance Director for the tax matters updating, tax planning discussion as well as business information exchange. Provide tax training to the companies and provide technical support to other colleagues internally, if required. Managing compliance for Transfer pricing documentation include CbCr, Local file, etc. Qualifications More than 5 years related working experience in international professional firm, or as an in-house tax counsel in multinational company; Knowledge on business practices in Singapore, Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, emerging market is preferable. Experience in Big 4 is preferable Bachelor degree or above, preferable in tax or accounting. Fluent in English Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive leadership; Self-initiated Interpersonal and communication skills Self-starter, motivated, organized, meticulous, independent and versatile team player Willing to learn and work under pressure Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit Strong service attitude Good project management skills. The Tax Manager will handle tax compliance, consultation, and governance for entities across Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Indonesia, including monitoring tax audits and negotiating with authorities. Responsibilities also involve monthly/quarterly tax reporting reviews, cross-reviewing annual CIT reports, and providing full technical support for business operations and M&A projects.
