We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role offers an opportunity to lead and oversee various tax-related activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the preparation and review of annual income tax provisions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline and oversee tax processes effectively.
• Handle sales tax filings and ensure accurate reporting for compliance purposes.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with entity formation and provide guidance on tax implications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related inquiries and provide strategic recommendations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes.
• Support audits and resolve any tax-related discrepancies.
• Develop and mentor staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing annual income tax provisions.
• Proficiency with CCH ProSystem Fx and other tax software.
• Strong understanding of sales tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate tax return preparation and review.
• Familiarity with entity formation processes and associated tax implications.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide and support team members.
