Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join a boutique firm in Louisville, Kentucky. This role focuses on serving high-net-worth clients and managing tax matters related to operating entities, estates, foundations, and charitable donations. If you are skilled in navigating complex tax scenarios and enjoy delivering tailored solutions, this position offers an excellent opportunity to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee tax compliance processes for high-net-worth individuals and their associated entities.
  • Provide strategic advice on estate taxes, gift taxes, and charitable donations to optimize client outcomes.
  • Prepare and review tax filings using CCH ProSystem fx Tax Compliance software.
  • Conduct in-depth tax planning with the support of CCH ProSystem fx Tax Planning tools.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial and tax data.
  • Research and apply tax regulations to address complex issues and minimize liabilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient estate and trust tax management.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and advise clients on implications for their tax strategies.
  • Train and mentor less experienced staff to uphold the firm’s high standards of service.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and customized solutions.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
  • Expertise in estate and gift tax planning and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx Tax Compliance and Tax Planning software.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations related to operating entities, foundations, and charitable donations.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic tax solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage projects and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • CPA certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
