We are in search of a Tax Manager to join our team, operating in the accounting and financial consulting sector. The role is based in Boca Raton, Florida, 33435, United States and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Tax Manager, your duties will encompass reviewing various tax returns, enhancing internal and external processes, and managing staff at different levels. You will also play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of our firm, including the implementation of software and internal procedures.

• Review corporate, personal, partnership, and trust tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage staff at all levels, providing feedback on work product and managing their objectives and performances
• Communicate with clients to review their financials, provide tax planning, resolve outstanding items, and assist in other areas as requested
• Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal and external processes
• Contribute to the strategic development of our team
• Mentor team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels
• Take a leading role in the strategic growth of the firm, including software implementation, improvement of internal procedures, and client interaction procedures
• Use your expertise in computer technology and paperless environments to drive improvements
• Utilize your skills in Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software, Quickbooks Online, and QuickBooks Pro to deliver on job requirements.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Tax Manager
• Proficiency in using Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is required
• Extensive experience with Quickbooks Online and QuickBooks Pro is necessary
• The candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Exceptional skills in Tax Preparation are mandatory
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in various Accounting Functions is essential
