THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Manager of Tax Operations (International Tax) to lead the U.S. international income tax compliance and reporting function. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about translating complex tax regulations into strategic business insights.
You’ll work closely with senior tax leaders, finance partners, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and alignment with global business strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in U.S. international tax, ideally with a mix of public accounting and corporate in-house roles
  • CPA required; MST preferred
  • Strong command of ASC 740, SEC reporting, and international tax compliance
  • Experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx, PeopleSoft)
  • Proven ability to consolidate worldwide tax provisions and analyze effective tax rates
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with direct or indirect team management
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities
  • Lead preparation and review of international components of federal tax returns (Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 1118, 5713)
  • Manage quarterly and annual foreign ASC 740 income tax provisions
  • Analyze and interpret complex international tax issues including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, APB23, and FTCs
  • Integrate planning, M&A, and transfer pricing projects into compliance workflows
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Technical Accounting teams to support GAAP and non-GAAP financial forecasting
  • Provide audit support and interface with external auditors to defend tax positions
  • Monitor tax legislation and assess its impact on compliance and effective tax rate (ETR)
