DESCRIPTION

Amazon EU seeks a Tax Analyst to support its European business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser.

Primary duties include:

  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to Tax Country Owners;
  • Analyze application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders;
  • Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks;
  • Monitoring development in the Tax legislation in different jurisdictions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to different Tax Country Managers;
  • Effectively business partner to ensure business activities are consistent with the group´s European legal and operational structure;
  • Analyze application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders;
  • Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks;
  • Monitoring development in the Tax legislation in different jurisdictions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • A minimum of 7 years of international income tax experience with a public accounting firm, major law firm, and/or in a multinational corporation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of working with European tax laws;
  • AI tools knowledge
