Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tax Manager to oversee and optimize the global tax function of our international organization. This role will lead all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, planning, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in U.S. and international tax laws, proven leadership experience, and a proactive mindset for driving both compliance and strategic tax efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global tax function, covering direct/indirect taxes, international tax, transfer pricing, and tax provision reporting.
  • Oversee preparation and timely filing of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax returns in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provision processes (ASC 740) to ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
  • Develop and execute international tax strategies aligned with business goals and global structures.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT/GST, withholding taxes, and cross-border transactions.
  • Monitor global tax law developments and recommend strategic responses.
  • Manage transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance with OECD and local regulations.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Treasury to support business initiatives, including M&A from a tax perspective.
  • Oversee external tax advisors, consultants, and auditors.
  • Lead and support global tax audits and inquiries.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive tax experience spanning international tax, public accounting, and corporate tax leadership.
  • Expertise in U.S. federal and international tax laws, compliance, and reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP tax accounting.
  • Proven success in managing tax audits and interacting with global tax authorities.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions, global structuring, and cross-border issues.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable in dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP systems.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in publicly traded or multinational technology/fintech companies.
  • Involvement in M&A, tax structuring, and post-deal integration.
  • Familiarity with digital asset taxation (e.g., 1099-MISC, 1099-DA), CARF, and crypto asset reporting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $216,000.00 per year
