JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable Tax Preparer/ EA or CPA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for individuals, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial situations.
We will consider candidates who wish to work full time during tax season and only one or two days a week the rest of the year. Partial work from home after first year may be a possibility depending upon data security provisions.
Ideal candidate will also have an interest in financial planning and willing to work with clients to integrate their tax preparation with our financial planning consultation.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, technical accounting principles, and financial concepts.
• Excellent math skills for accurate calculations related to taxes.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and provide sound advice.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
