Rush Tax Resolution is a nationally recognized firm dedicated to helping individuals and businesses resolve complex tax issues. We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Resolution Specialist who is either an Enrolled Agent (EA) or an Attorney with extensive experience dealing with the IRS and state taxing authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Enrolled Agent or Attorney designation (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience with IRS and state tax resolution
  • In-depth knowledge of IRS procedures, IRM guidelines, and resolution programs
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client cases and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with IRS transcript analysis tools, tax resolution platforms, and CRM systems

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing agencies in all stages of the resolution process.
  • Prepare and submit resolution cases including:
  • Installment Agreements (Partial Pay and Streamlined)
  • Offers in Compromise (Doubt as to Collectibility, Doubt as to Liability, Effective Tax Administration)
  • Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status
  • Penalty Abatements
  • Handle Collection Due Process Appeals, Hearings, Collection Appeals, and 911 Taxpayer Advocate requests.
  • Analyze IRS transcripts and client financial data to recommend and execute optimal resolution strategies.
  • Prepare and review necessary financial documents (Form 433-A/B/F, OIC forms, etc.).
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Stay current with tax code changes, IRS procedures, and collections practices.
