Job details: As a member of our Tax team, you will be empowered to work directly with our diverse client base and team to provide a broad spectrum of tax and related consulting services. You will help develop team processes and systems, lead by example through demonstration of initiative, resourcefulness, and independent thinking. Responsibilities Serve as the Engagement Manager and be responsible for planning, execution, final deliverable and billing and collections Review complex individual, partnership, S and C corporate tax returns, as well as nonprofit, trust returns, and work papers Monitor client engagements against the budget and communicate schedule adjustments to management Analyze complex client transactions to identify and resolve potential and/or existing problems Manage communication with staff and clients addressing client concerns as needed Identify opportunities to increase level and type of services Provide outstanding client service by building client confidence and trust Develop team member's technical skills and encourage professional growth Requirements BS in Accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus CPA required 8+ years with public accounting firm experience with tax focus Experience with CCH Axcess preferred A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and sharp analytical skills Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and a proven track record of follow-through #LI - remote Salary Range Salary Range $165,000—$200,000 USD
