We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Tax Senior to join our team in Grafton, MA. In this role, you will oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, provide mentorship to less experienced staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build strong client relationships while contributing to the success of the organization.

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage and review tax extensions to meet filing deadlines.
• Evaluate and finalize estimates for federal and state income tax payments.
• Assist with and review the preparation of detailed tax accounting records.
• Collaborate with business clients to maintain accurate bookkeeping, including processing checks, deposits, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of annual Form 1099s for clients.
• Draft and review response letters to tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Foster strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and support throughout the year.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced team members to enhance their growth and development.
• Proficiency in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Experience with tax preparation software, such as CCH ProSystem Fx.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Commitment to building and maintaining client relationships.
  Bachelor’s Degree, CPA/EA/ProAdvisor a plus
  Minimum 3 years accounting experience
  Experience with Intuit products, CCH ProSystem, and MS Office preferred
