TAX & SUCCESSION PLANNING SOLICITOR (SENIOR ASSOCIATE)

Join a Legal 500-recognised regional law firm with a strong reputation and people-first culture. It is now looking to expand its Tax and Succession Planning team and are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to play a key role in shaping and growing this specialist area.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ advisory experience in legal or accountancy practice
  • STEP or CTA qualification preferred
  • Strong experience with private clients, complex assets, or business interests
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, driven and client-focused

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Tax Solicitor (Senior Associate), you’ll work with high-net-worth individuals and complex estates, delivering expert advice on inheritance tax, capital gains, estate planning and corporate tax. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across private client, property, corporate and litigation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advise on inheritance tax, succession planning and complex estate structures
  • Collaborate across divisions for integrated client solutions
  • Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing
  • Stay ahead of legal/tax changes and proactively advise clients
  • Support business development, networking and thought leadership
