Our firm is a member of the MGI global network group, one of the largest associations of independent accounting, auditing and consulting organisations in the world. We are seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our growing professional services team. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to a motivated tax professional who enjoys hands-on collaboration, supervising staff on-site, and delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Responsibilities: Review and supervise the preparation of individual, trust, partnership, company and SMSF income tax returns Provide taxation advice and support on a range of matters, including CGT, small business concessions, and structuring Manage workflow, deadlines and quality control for allocated jobs Supervise and support junior and intermediate staff, including on-the-job training and technical guidance Liaise directly with clients, the ATO and other external stakeholders Assist with tax planning, advisory work and internal process improvements Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards and firm policies Skills Required: Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Law (or equivalent) CA or CPA qualified, or currently undertaking Strong working knowledge of Australian (or relevant jurisdiction) tax legislation Previous experience in a public practice environment Demonstrated experience reviewing work and supervising staff Strong communication and client-relationship skills Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing deadlines
Responsibilities
