Job Title:

  • Taxation Accountant (221113)

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for providing advice and guidance about taxation, including ways of managing tax liability and compliance with current legislation

Duties:

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Running or attending client meetings for small business and for client’s accounting department.
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required.
  • Engaging regularly with clients and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members, including delegating, and reviewing work.
  • Assisting Directors and Managers with tax planning, research, and advice.
  • Being proficient with Xero and able to access various client’s accounting software to extract basic accounting figures.

Qualification:

  • AQF Bachelor or Higher
  • 3 years of experience in tax compliance

Salary:

  • $73,500 - $90,000 + Superannuation

Employment Condition:

  • Full Time / 38 hours per week
