Proficiency in taxonomy management tools such as Smartlogic, PoolParty, and Topbraid. Experience with metadata standards and information architecture. Knowledge of semantic technologies, SKOS modeling, and experience using SPARQL. Strong understanding of financial terminology and data structures. Direct experience in the financial services industry or in an information science framework. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector. Experience in business/data analysis and concept/entity extraction to support taxonomy development. Experience in the categorization and use of business data in support of business processes such as risk management, vendor management, financial management, or procurement. Experience in taxonomy change management and associated governance processes. - Bachelor's degree in library science, information science, computer science or related discipline - 5+ years of taxonomy management experience in a corporation, government body or relevant organization - Demonstrable experience in developing new taxonomies and managing changes to existing ones - Proficiency in data management tools and software.
