On top of our extremely low turnover team, we also have a state-of-the-art ultrasound unit and dedicated sonographer who performs over 500 full abdominal ultrasounds per year. We welcome experienced and new graduate veterinary professionals to join our team! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong understanding of animal physiology. This role involves working closely with veterinarians to provide high-quality care for pets and other animals, ensuring their health and well-being. The Veterinary Technician will play a crucial role in assisting with medical procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and providing support to pet owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor the health and behavior of animals during their stay at the clinic or hospital. Provide education to pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and training techniques. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients. Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort and safety. Participate in kennel management, including cleaning and sanitizing animal housing areas.
