JOB TITLE: Arm Assembler PREPARED BY: Emily Hinson SALARY: Non-exempt – Full Time – Hourly JOB LOCATION: TB Arhaus Upholstery – Conover, NC       WEEKLY HOURS: Mon. – Fri. from 6a – 3:30p; Overtime as needed DEPARTMENT: Inside Upholstery REPORTS TO: Inside Upholstery Supervisor POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE: The Arm Assembler will bolt the arm assembly of specific sofas and chairs to the frame. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Line Up holes and bolt arms onto the frame using pneumatic and hand tools. WORKING CONDITIONS: Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.  SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Minimum SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None DIRECT REPORTS: None QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1+ Years’ experience using basic hand tools. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience in furniture manufacturing is preferred. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED SKILLS: * Must be a team player * Must be reliable * Must be able to work with minimum supervision * Must be able to work weekends and overtime * Must have strong communication skills. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS   * Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75lbs. * Must be able to stand/walk on concrete surfaces for a minimum of 8 hours per day. * Must have good vision. * Must be able to wear required PPE of safety glasses and close toe / close heal shoes. * Must be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
Responsibilities
The Arm Assembler is responsible for bolting the arm assembly of specific sofas and chairs onto the frame. This involves lining up holes and securing the arms using both pneumatic and hand tools.
