Description Essential Purpose: To ensure all aspects of the Temecula Creek Golf Club membership program for the property are completed in a professional manner in the area of sales, communications and inventory control. Essential Duties: To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. To ensure golf staff has a clear understanding of the program. To train new staff so they are knowledgeable about the benefits of the program, the sales process, and the Journey round tracking system. To conduct and manage monthly phone calls to all expiring TCGC Players within the month their membership expires. To generate reports including monthly sales tracker, referral round tracking, and Journey round tracking. To scan and file all TCGC Membership applications for the month. To maintain an inventory on all TCGC Membership supplies and to contact the Director of Golf and Head Professional when re-order is needed. To immediately report any discrepancies between POS Sales, applications, Journey rounds and internal reports to the Director of Golf and Head Professional. To maintain tracking for individual sales for all Pro Shop employees. To ensure that guests have a quality experience in the golf shop and on the golf course and to ensure that the staff works together as a team. To work golf shop shifts and to share in the responsibilities of checking in golfers and getting them on the course on time. To promote & comply with all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions. To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times. To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others, including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use of handling all relevant equipment. To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed. To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed. Requirements Knowledge + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Must have a minimum one-year experience in retail sales. Extensive golf knowledge required. Previous hotel/resort experience preferred. Skills: Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Learns quickly. Safety minded. High quality standards for production and service. Diplomatic and calm. Strong verbal communication skills. Courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision. Trustworthy and reliable. Physical Demands: Stands and walks short distances throughout shift. Frequent use of "short" staircase, daily. Moderate to heavy use of phones, daily. Occasionally required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs. over short distances. Bends, stoops, reaches, and lifts to perform routine job tasks. Must be able to meet the service demands of many different types of individuals throughout the day. Flexibility and good reflexes required to operate electric cart.
