This position reports to the Head of TDT Your responsibilities will include: Initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects across the TDT network to improve efficiency and reduce cost; Operationalizing new business development initiatives within the TDT network; Support with developing and/or improving the health and safety plans, programmes and procedures in the TDT network; Auditing operational teams against approved systems; Coordinating changes required in the Takealot Pickup Point network in support of business expansion; Investigating, establishing and implementing standardized resources across the TDT network; Working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to optimise total delivery lead-time and logistics cost; and Active Stakeholder Management by ensuring clear communication channels are maintained between all parties involved in improvement projects. Attributes required: Logistics supply chain experience; Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to interpret complex operational environments, identify problem areas and project manage the implement of leading edge solutions; Quantitative analytical capability, with a strong grasp of management and cost accounting principles and metrics; Good leadership and team development skills; and High degree of personal motivation and resilience.
