Job Description Exciting opportunity based at our new satellite class at Malek Fahd Islamic School in Greenacre! Full-time (5 days per week), maximum term teaching role for 2026, commencing Term 2 $90,100 - 127,281k + special education allowance $3,699 p.a. + superannuation Work with the team at Aspect South East Sydney School, as part of our satellite class within Malek Fahd Islamic School based in Greenacre, NSW. You will help create a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidence informed best practice in autism. Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated teacher aide. You will work closely in a team that includes the student, family, teacher aide and other professionals such as our school psychologist, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality learning programs. About the School: Aspect South East Sydney School provides placement for approximately 210 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 18 years of age. The School’s main sites are at Peakhurst, Marrickville, and Loftus, and there are 9 satellite classes within Sydney Catholic Schools and Department of Education Schools across the South East Sydney region of Sydney, along with a new satellite class based within Malek Fahd Islamic School (where this position will be based). Qualifications What we are looking for: NESA registration to teach in NSW Special Education qualifications are preferred Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disability (desirable) NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment Depending on the school's location/requirements it may be essential to have a current driver's licence A Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence (desirable) You may be required to provide an international police clearance.
