CHILD, Inc. is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher Assistant for our Kent County Head Start program. Teacher Assistants work under the direct supervision and guidance of lead classroom teachers, assisting with instructional supports and routine duties. Interested candidate must be available to work during agency hours of operation at any one of our three locations. Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours; Full Year/52 weeks Pay Rate is dependent on credentials: $20.08 with Pre-School Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential $23.91 with Associates in Early Childhood, Education or Related Degree Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour shift (Hours of operation are 7:30am - 5:30pm) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations located in Warwick & Coventry, RI CHILD, Inc. provides all full-time employees with a comprehensive benefits package. Professional references will be verified. Valid RI driver's license and an insured vehicle. Proof of insurance will be required. Background clearances such as fingerprints, BCI, DCYF, and health records (immunizations) required. Basic keyboarding and basic computer skills highly desirable. Responsibilities
