Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants and toddlers in a safe and stimulating environment. Conduct developmental assessments to identify individual needs and create tailored plans for each child's growth and development. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Locations: ITAV Child Care Services (Chicago, IL) Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $39,729 - $47,703 Please note: This position may be tied to grant funding Qualifications Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. Hold a Level 4 Gateway credential or have at least 30 college credits, with 15 of those in Early Childhood Education. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role. Solid understanding of classroom activities and best practices in teaching. Must have a compassionate and positive attitude. Must be able to demonstrate the skill and competence necessary to contribute to each child’s physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
