The hourly rate is $18.00 to $21.55 based on experience. Duties: Teacher Assistant Float position providing support to the Early Learning Center, RI Pre-K program and The Grace School. Provides assistance to the teacher in the classroom in regard to daily activities, cleanliness, supervision, curriculum and assessment. Provides coverage to the programs including breaks, meetings and curriculum planning times. Partners with families to ensure high quality care and education for young children. Maintains a clean, organized and child-friendly learning environment in accordance with state regulations. Always maintains supervision of children (indoor/outdoor) using accurate licensing ratios. Valid CPR and first aid training/certification. A minimum of 1 year working experience with young children, birth to age 5.
