We’re looking for a caring and energetic Pre-K Teacher Assistant-Floater to support classroom instruction, foster positive child development, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment. As a Teacher Assistant-Floater you’ll have the opportunity to provide support across various sites based on operational needs, implementing curriculum, supervising children, and fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. This full-time position assists with assessments, parent engagement, and school readiness activities to help children thrive. Key Responsibilities: Assist in daily classroom activities and child supervision Support curriculum implementation aligned with NAEYC and Head Start standards Ensure a safe and positive learning environment Conduct developmental screenings and maintain child progress records Engage with parents to support family and community involvement Participate in professional development and team collaboration Qualifications: High School diploma or Preschool CDA endorsement or ability to obtain an PK CDA within 10 months of employment Experience in a preschool setting or working with young children.
