1.         Education:   High School graduate or equivalent.   2.          Training and Experience:   Six (6) months experience or education or credentials that are considered equivalent.   CPR certification must be completed within the first three (3) months of employment.   Ten (10) hours of educational in-service training must be completed annually.   3.          Job Knowledge:   Knowledge of the developmental growing stages of children including potty training and or changing a wet or soiled diaper.  Knowledge of setting up a desired program to meet the needs of children; creating a daily lesson plan concurrent with different learning styles.   Ability to communicate with parents, co-workers, medical staff through oral and written communication.  Ability to accept direction, adhere to policies and procedures, work as a team player, and to react calmly and effectively in an emergency and stressful situation.   4.         Safety Sensitive:    YES In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as “safety sensitive.”  A “safety sensitive” position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others.
