About the Role CODE is looking for a Teacher Assistant for the module (SE_02) and the associated course, Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures. In this position, you will support our students in their learning experience by: Helping to create a fun, rigorous environment for students to learn. Answering student questions and supporting them to progress in their learning journey through office hours, Slack, Google Classroom, and during LUs. Ensuring that essential course feedback reaches faculty. Running practice sessions for students, and helping with content & challenges they are struggling with. (SE_02) Reviewing student hand-ins and giving them feedback throughout the semester. We’re looking for someone with the following skillset: Desire to help fellow students. (Experience teaching or tutoring is a plus.) Some understanding and practical experience with Python. (Experience with other programming languages plus.) Passed the module Algorithms and Data Structures or similar. For working student positions at CODE, we need you to meet the following requirements: Being currently matriculated at a German university. Having a registered address in Germany and a German tax number. Having the right to work in Germany. Having a German bank account.
