Description

Description * Provide assistance and support to classroom teacher in establishing and implementing a therapeutic classroom program reflecting the needs of the student as specified in the students Individual Educational Plan (IEP). * Benefits eligible; medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Accrued sick and paid leave time. Eligible for 401K plan after 60 days. * Follows 9 month Academic calendar and optional ESY program * Monday-Friday, 8:45am-2:45pm * $21.50/hr plus additional stipend for classroom coverage Requirements Bachelor degree required. Professional Educator License (PEL) or specialized training in the field of human services preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a substitute teaching license.

Responsibilities

Assist and support the classroom teacher in implementing a therapeutic classroom program tailored to student needs. Ensure adherence to the students' Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).
