JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support educators in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly in early childhood education settings, and will assist in implementing educational programs tailored to the needs of diverse learners.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following skills or experience:

• First aid certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in preschool settings or daycare environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Previous experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare, nannying, babysitting, or teaching is essential.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging young learners.

• Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and structured activities, promoting social interaction and cooperation.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional materials as needed.
• Support the daily routines of the classroom, including snack time, transitions, and other activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
