ASSIGNMENT:

• Part-time 0.40 FTE Interim teaching position
• Instructing in the Pre-Kindergarten Bright Futures Play Academy Program
• Nurturing beginnings: Help children take their first steps in learning and discovery in a supportive, and welcoming environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience teaching in Pre-Kindergarten aged children would be considered an asset
• Literacy background
• Experience in play-based education
• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
• Assessment literate
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
• Effective classroom management
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
