ASSIGNMENT:

• Part-time 0.50 FTE Interim teaching position
• Possibility of an FTE increase for the second semester
• Courseload to include Grades 10-12 Physical Education and Social Studies
• Duties will commence on September 15, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience teaching relevant courses as listed above would be considered an asset
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
• Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
• Assessment literate
• Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
• An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
• Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment.
