School: DPSCD Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School Location: Detroit Compensation: $40/hour Program Dates: June 22-July 24, no school July 3. Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:45 pm to 4:45 pm Pre-Program Meeting: Meeting in early June and training on June 17. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students. * Conduct Pre and Post program assessments * Plan fun, active lessons for student enrichment, focused on games and movement * Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality. * Attend a mandatory meeting in June (exact date TBD). ---------------------------------------- EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms * Will need to upload documents in teams Preferred: * Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field  * Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education * Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
